A little bit about me
Hi, I am Magdalena, a Certified Hatha Yoga Teacher and the heart behind Tension Release Yoga. My journey into yoga began as a deeply personal exploration-an anchor through life's many transitions, and the way to stay connected to what truly matters. As a single parent and a long time caregiver supporting the elderly through their golden years, I have come to see Yoga not just as a physical practice, but as a lifeline for the body mind and spirit.
My classes are rooted in traditional Hatha Yoga, when breath and movement becomes a sacred dialogue. I teach how to link diaphragm natural rhythm with mindful movement, while gently awakening awareness of the pranic body-the subtle energy realm of chakras, lifeforce and kundalini. I use quotes from indian scriptures like "Patanjali Yoga Sutras" and "Hatha Yoga Pradipika" and put them into practice. Exploring themes of mind, Ego, Consciousness and Meditation. I aim to guide students into a deeper connection with themselves and the world around them.
I also offer breath-work and wellness classes designed to calm the nervous system and soothe anxiety, and create a space for stored emotions to gently release. These sessions combine ancient yogic breath practices, mindfulness, reflexology, and verbal body scan to help you feel safe, grounded and present.
At the core of my work is the desire to cultivate genuine, meaningful connection-with yourself, others, everything around you and therefore live a more peaceful life. Whether you're seeking physical release, emotional healing, or spiritual clarity, I welcome you to a space of compassion,exploration and growth.
