What Is Sound Therapy?

Sound therapy uses vibration and resonance to shift energy and emotions within the body. The gong in particular produces rich layers of frequencies that help release emotional blockages, restore balance to the nervous system, and invite deep relaxation.

When the gong is played, its sound waves wash through the body like a current — gently “shaking loose” what no longer serves you and helping you realign to your natural frequency of wellbeing.

Each gong bath session in Exmouth begins with mindful breathing and grounding, helping you enter a relaxed, meditative state. Once the body is settled, the gong and other instruments (such as the shamanic drum and Tibetan singing bowls) are played over and around the body.

This combination of sound medicine and meditation helps harmonise the physical, emotional, and energetic layers of your being, leaving you feeling centred, grounded, and empowered.


After the Session

Many clients describe feeling lighter, clearer, and more in tune with themselves after a session. One busy mum told me she felt her voice had changed — it became calmer and deeper, reflecting the sense of peace she’d found within.

I always recommend drinking plenty of water and resting after a session. The sound continues to work on a cellular level, and its balancing effects often unfold gently over the following days.
